I guess there might be up to a million weight loss programs going on around your area. If you wish to lose weight fast, you want to check them out. I’d recommend that you go for programs that take natural courses. By this I mean, there should be no application of synthetic materials such as chemicals that may leave some toxic by products in their wake. Alternatively, you could try any of these on your own (at least one of them will work for you):

1. Take lemon grass tea early in the morning: If you live in an area where lemon grass grows in an abundance, you can get some and boil it for about 15 to 20 minutes. There are no strict rules about the amount to boil and the amount of water to use. Just be as flexible as you can. But I would suggest you use plenty of water because part of the mechanism is water therapy. You can reboil the quantity and use for about 3 days before disposing of it. That means the initial quantity used should be pre-disposed to last that much and no more. This will ensure that you avoid waste especially where there is scarcity of lemon grass.

2. Use ‘Nchanwu’ leaf as vegetable to make stew: While traveling in some parts of Africa, I came in contact with a naturally growing spice called ‘Nchanwu’ which means ‘remover of sun burn’ in Igbo Language of Africa. The leaf of ‘Nchanwu’ was said to have been used by ancient Africans in treating obesity, and there were living testimonials of this. This perhaps is the reason why obesity or overweight was not much known among ancient Africans. Even presently, the term ‘overweight’ tends to make absolutely no meaning to a traditional African.

3. Use Your Mind: This perhaps should be the most mind-blowing of all these revelations. Do you know you can lose enormous weight by a sheer act of your own mind? For donkey years, religious doctrines almost went close to saying this through the teaching on ‘faith’. The christian Bible for example holds that ‘if you say to this mountain ‘leave this place and be planted in the sea’ and you have no single doubt in your mind, it will obey you’ (may be not the exact wording). But this teaching seemed to lack one thing: method. There were not specific rules to follow in executing this ‘faith’. This is the only dimension added by science and called ‘hypnosis’. Indeed, there are specific mental rules you can apply to lose weight. The greatest advantage of this is that you don’t need any significant change in your daily lifestyle. There’s, for example,no need for any change in diet required.
